Rachel has always been passionate about the connections between food, health, and community. With a love for spending time with family and friends over good meals and conversations, she often found herself in the kitchen creating delicious dishes to share. In 2012, Rachel decided to turn her passion into a career and attended Cook Street School for Culinary Arts in Denver, CO. Now ServSafe certified in food handling and safety procedures, a member of the United States Personal Chef Association, and a level one certificate holder with the International Sommelier Guild, Rachel owns Relish and works as a personal chef. She loves creating customized menus that fit the needs of families. No matter how many dietary restrictions exist, she believes delicious meals can be created. When she's not in the kitchen, Rachel enjoys golfing with her husband, spending time with their three year old son and one year old daughter, and visiting her family in Colorado.

Katie graduated Michigan State University in 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing. After working in the corporate world for 7 years she realized her true passion in food and attended culinary school at Schoolcraft College. She completed an apprenticeship at a resort in Greece shortly after and has since been busy bringing people together for small custom dinner parties and working in catering at Martha's Vineyard. After growing up in Holland and living in DC and Detroit, Katie is excited to be back in the Grand Rapids area and to be connecting the community with great food as a personal chef. She believes in using the best seasonal and local ingredients and being constantly curious and creative. She loves to travel to new places with her parents and two sisters, add to her crazy collection of cookbooks, and hang with her two dogs.
